| | Welcome to ‹«Çombined Âssault Þlatoon»›'s home page! We here at ‹«ÇÂÞ»› would like to send out a warm welcome to all new members and possible recruits. ‹«ÇÂÞ»› is truly a team/friend based environment composed of some of the best mature players to be found in the gaming community. ‹«ÇÂÞ»› can trace it's origins back to Dec 2000 in SWAT 3 and a clan called AKA. Four members of AKA Cyanotic, Jman, Raptor, and Raven (Desperado). Started a clan called UCS3 (United Congress of SWAT3), which later became DA (Death Angels). Mostly a tdm/dm team DA quickly became one of the most competitive and recognized teams in Swat. In 2002 DA split apart with Raven leaving the clan. Shortly after Cyanotic and Raptor decided to pick up the pieces and forge a new group. Combined Assault Platoon. Combined Assault Platoon has been an active presence in such games as SWAT 3, Ghost Recon, Americas Army, Delta Force Land Warrior, Black Hawk Down, SWAT 4, Call of Duty 2, Battlefield 2,Battlefield 2142, Ghost Recon 3 (GRAW),Ghost Recon 4 (GRAW2), Rainbow Six Vegas, and now Call of Duty 4.. While the members have changed from time to time our leadership at the core has always been the same. Our main focus is teamwork, maturity, and having fun! We hope that for the new members you will come to see ‹«ÇÂÞ»› as we do. Not just a group of gamers but as a close-knit family that shares each other's ups and downs. All, Please look at the member roster. We recently updated what looks right to me for all members. Let us know of any errors so we get those fixed. How will a member move up in the ranks - recently we said it requires activity in TS, X-Fire, forums, and gaming. You do not have to be playing CAP servers/games for your time to count. Not being seen for a period of time and not posting leave notice will get you an AWOL tag. Keep us informed so this is not you. If your AWOL tag stays for 30 days without your posting otherwise, we will consider this your resignation from CAP. We would rather you resign in person or post just like when you came in to CAP, but we realize that some of you just want to fade away. It is fine to get bored with a game - happens all the time. I only see those not active in forums, TS, and X-Fire as bored with our members, so why would we wait for you to want us again. Put your tags ( ‹«ÇÂÞ»› ) on all of these if you are in CAP! It is also fine to play intermittently and stay in CAP - just don't expect to move up the ladder. Again - you do not have to play the games we are playing or our servers, but disappearing means you quit. If you come back in three months and tell us about a horrible accident you were in, we would gladly take you back. If you come back in three months and ask if you can join again - we will treat you like we did before - earn your tags and let's have some fun. The guy that does the floors at night/BeBop. |
